to all the big feelers...thank you for showing us the way
The falling of leaves remind us, change is inevitable. What are you learning about letting go and what change are you fueling through your grief?
How do we come towards one another in these times of uncertainty and change?
Check out my coaching offerings below…
To the big feelers…
We need you. There is so much to feel and grieve to reveal the ways toward building more togetherness and toward rebuilding a society that holds us ALL better.
To the kids who feel the world in such big ways and it’s hard to sit still, to listen, to follow instructions, thank you for teaching us what is no longer working and needs change.
To the kids whose big feelings show up in quiet persistent worries or burst out in physical behaviors like yelling, hitting or even harming, thank you for teaching us to pay closer attention, to feel more and to find new ways.
To the adults who are overwhelmed, depleted or surviving, thank you for showing us what’s no longer working and needs change.
To the adults who are feeling despair, anger or disillusionment, thank you for teaching us to pay closer attention, to feel more and to find new ways.
To the neurodivergent, the trauma survivors, those struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic illness or pain. Thank you for leading the way, for being “the canaries in the coal mine,” warning us all that we need to urgently transform our societal structures and values to collectively come together and find new ways towards sustainable, inclusive change.
We live in a society that avoids grieving. How do we feel more and grieve the immense loss in growing environmental disasters, wars, genocide and the mass disconnections between us?
We live in a society that avoids anger. How will we find the fuel for change if we are not willing to say “enough of this” and use our anger to stand in discomfort and demand necessary change?
There is too much to be done, they say. There isn’t enough time, especially to feel, they say. A sense that to feel, would be the death of us. But, isn’t feeling what it means to truly be alive. Can we feel joy if we don’t grieve? Can we feel and honor our humanity without feeling angry in response to the dehumanization of others? What would those who paved the paths before us say.
Would our ancestors tell us to be more efficient and productive while we are alive or would they tell us to feel more and build more connection to ourselves, one another and the world around us?
I am curious…How are you grieving? Where are you resisting? What do you need to do to let yourself feel the grief and move through it?
How can we be grieving and also fuel action?
What does your anger reveal to you? How are you tending to your anger? How will you participate with it in a new way?
What will we do with the space and fuel we create? What will we build? How will we grow it and share it?
